THE LAST RECKONING ends a 1-year festival run with 2 more wins

Producer/Director, Garnet Campbell, and Producer/Writer/Editor, Grant Gladish, flew from Vancouver to Montreal for CIFF's May, 2026 film festival and awards.  THE LAST RECKONING played at 7PM and closed out the festival's Saturday run of films. On Sunday, May 24th, Grant Gladish joined other screenwriters (Jen Romnes, Joy Sculnick, Daniel Bourgeois, Natasha Zaman, Joe Rule and Al Raif) in a 2-hour panel interview. Thereafter came the awards and THE LAST RECKONING scooped up two more wins: BEST CANADIAN FEATURE FICTION and BEST ACTOR, GRANT GLADISH.

This success marks 28 wins in 12 international film festivals, in Canada, USA, Europe and Asia.

The most common win has been one variation or another of BEST PICTURE: "Best Canadian Feature Fiction," "Best International Feature," "Best Drama," "Best Crime Film," etc.
